Spring High Point Market displayed bright plush greens with non-stop fun themes to bring your spaces to new places . There were parties, panel discussions and showrooms filled with color. Green was a go-to choice and gold was glittering everywhere. Pink is also hot! While the greige (gray/beige) trend is still alive and “neutral ready” we can’t help but love the freshness of color. We saw many wonderful trends including tropical delights, Moroccan shapes, nature themes, lucite, brass and much more. It’s always a joy to see designer friends launch their new lines and to hang with colleagues who share in their inspiration and energy. It’s one big party for sure. ALSO- WE ARE DELIGHTED to announce that we will moderate a panel next Market in October of super talented designers!
This sumptuous bed upholstered in John Robshaw fabric is ready for you to dive in! Fresh sheets are ALWAYS awesome!
I was excited for my dynamo friend Tobi Fairley who recently launched her Duralee fabric line with this CR Laine furniture collection!
Then it was Party time(I love this part) at Leathercraft where HGTV Designer Corey Jenkins(second from left) launched his new line! Posing with Corey for this photo op from left to right are Mary Douglas Drysdale, Interior Desiger Extroadinaire; Ann Maine, Editor and Chief of Tradtional Home and a the lovely blogger Kimberly Ward of @PinkEggShell.
Corey’s new Sofa and Ottomans are stylin below with serious dressmaker details and saturated complimentary colors! This look created a storm for sure! Think Gone with the Wind. You know – the Quite Frankly Scarlet I don’t give a damn line!
Traditional Home Editor Tori Mellott interviews friend and tv celebrity Libby Langdon below to talk about the latest launches for this amazing showroom. Notice the nail heads on the green leather cabinet behind them!
Henredon displayed my favorite blue and green combinations below and I can’t get enough tortoise – so this mirror against this wallpaper really gives a natural effect – think jungle meets modern. Please don’t look in the mirror haha and go straight to the geometric stylin shelves which us stageaholics can’t get enough of.
Green plush themes continue. Black furniture never fails.
We weren’t kidding about glittering gold ….think Auntie Mame. And if you haven’t seen this movie you are missing out -it’s a must for decorating enthusiasts!
Also at Global Views showroom the Emma Fuschia Vase from Williamsburg Brand which embraces the nature theme in the most delicate way with beautiful complimentary colors.
