Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to sneak in an inspiring visit to one of the most extraordinary gardens in the Northeast. Carolyne Roehm, style icon, author of 12 books, and fashion designer invited guests into her Studio and 59 acre property for the Trade Secrets Garden Tour 2016 and the results were spectacular. The Trade Secrets Garden Tour of 2016 included Carolyn Roehm’s property along with iconic interior designer Bunny Williams who founded the Tour in 2001 to raise money for Women’s Support Services in Litchfield County, CT. Martha Stewart is also a supporter ready to greet those who arrive early for the Saturday Garden Sale at LionsRock Farm. Carolyne Rhoem’s amazing property includes her 18th century house Weatherstone shown below. There was beauty at every turn once you arrived. The eye quickly traveled and didn’t stop. There was the house, the studio, potting shed, greenhouse, gardens, pool, cabana, patios and much more -all in great taste. Enjoy the photos below to catch a glimpse of this special property which doesn’t open often to outsiders.
